Knife amnesty bin update - Acomb

Today, officers collected 162 Bladed articles from the knife amnesty bin in Acomb, York.

 These bins are part of a vital joint initiative between North Yorkshire Police, City of York Council, and North Yorkshire County Council. By providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of knives, we are working together to reduce the risk of harm in our neighbourhoods.

 If you have a bladed article you wish to dispose of safely, you can find our amnesty boxes at the following locations across York:

Acomb:     Morrisons Car Park, Front street (located near the recycling centre)

Clifton :    Kingsway North

Heworth:  East Parade
